In the ECU convention in Finland in 2004, Dr. Dimou presented a paper written in Surrey University during his final academic placement year. The title of the study was "A Randomised Controlled Trial of Chiropractic Manipulation and Achilles Stretches Vs Orthotics for the Treatment of Plantar Fasciitis".

The same project was also published in September 2004 in the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association (JACA) (A randomised controlled trial of Chiropractic manipulation and Achilles stretches Vs Orthotics for the treatment of plantar fasciitis). The article is also available online.
